After leaving the IFL in 2007, West began a new streak winning five straight to earn an opportunity with Bellator. He won his Season 3 Bantamweight Quarterfinal bout at Bellator 27 and his Semifinal bout at Bellator 30 to earn the opportunity to fight for the Tournament Championship. In October 2010, West lost a decision at Bellator 32 against Zach Makovsky in the Tournament Final.
