Brian "The Predator" Rogers is set to return to the Bellator cage and he now knows who his opponent will be. Rogers (8-3, 1-1 Bellator), who on January 9th was the first fighter announced as a member of the Bellator Season 6 Middleweight Tournament will meet Vitor Vianna in the Quarterfinals, rumored to take place on Friday night March 16th at a location to be determined. Interestingly enough Rogers and Vianna are the lone returning members from the Season 5 Bellator 185 pound tourney who tasted victory last Fall. Rogers scored a TKO of Victor O'Donnell at Bellator 50 while Vianna earned a split decision over Sam Alvey at Bellator 50 and a KO win over Bryan Baker at Bellator 54. Both fighters ended their Season 5 Tournament run in facing Alexander Shlemenko with Rogers losing by TKO at Bellator 54 and Vianna losing by unanimous decision to the Russian in the Tournament finals at Bellator 57.

Brian Rogers, a pro since early 2008 and a product of the Strong Style Fight Team in Independence, Ohio, began his career at 1-2 with two decision losses. But he responded with 7 straight KO/TKO wins including wins at Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson and Bellator 50. His TKO loss to Alexander Shlemenko at Bellator 54 was his first in two and a half years.

Vitor Vianna, a pro since 2004, has suffered just two losses in 15 career pro MMA fights with those two losses coming to UFC Light Heavyweight Thiago Silva and the aforementioned Shlemenko. Vianna (12-2-1, 2-1 Bellator), advanced to the finals of the Season 5 Middleweight Tournament defeating Alvey and Baker before being thoroughly dominated by Shlemenko at Bellator 57.

Bellator's 6th season kicks off on March 2nd and will continue for 12 weeks live each Friday on MTV2. Season 6 will feature tournaments in the Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight and Middleweight divisions with a Summer Series expected to take place featuring a 8-man Light Heavyweight Tournament.
