Pacquiao Hatton 24/7 Episode 3

Pro Fighting Fans has released our Pacquiao Hatton preview!

The third episode of Hatton Pacquiao 24/7 has Floyd Mayweather Sr. invites Hatton and his crew over for a party and some relaxation.

Hatton is introduced to the pleasures of what he calls "The Cool Aid". We see some paintings drawn by Mayweather which are excellent, showing his multiple talents. Of course, we also see more of his closet and wardrobe which shows just how eccentric he truly is.

The entire Hatton camp watches the second episode of Hatton Pacquiao 24/7 together. Hatton and Mayweather say that Pacquiao and Roach just practice the same move over and over again, ending with a right hook and spinning away.

Moving to the Pacquiao camp, we see Manny Pacquiao quietly sitting in a church and praying. He then explains his faith and trust in God, while Roach says that he thinks "God is too busy" to worry about a boxing match and it's about preparation. Roach says the last time he was in a church a nun pulled him by the hair and tossed him to the ground, which was the end of his religious ventures.

The Wild Card gym is a bit too packed with onlookers and friends, so Roach goes around and has everybody clear out with the encouragement of Micheal Moorer. Roach encourages the cameras to catch the sparring sessions in which Manny knocks out his opponents as a psychological tool.

Back to Hatton, we see him working the mitts and talking about how he is much improved and different from the older version of himself. He says he thinks there will be a knockout in the fight. We see Mayweather nailing Hatton in the gut with a medicine ball.

We see a bit of Matthew Hatton training, as a means to introduce Floyd's brother Roger Mayweather. He says that Hatton should win, and if he can't, he should burn his equipment because it's useless since he's such a larger man. Roger brings over a fighter to spar with Hatton. Mayweather Sr. explains the lung disease, sarcoidosis, which he has had for 8 years.

Pacquiao heads to the doctor for his preflight clearance examinations. Pacquiao is bored, but Roach is happy it provides a day off since his pupil tends to work too hard. The temperature inside the Wild Card on a hot day is 119 degrees. Pacquiao says he is working on his style to fight Hatton on the inside and that he's ready to get it on.

Hatton talks about his dedication to Manchester City football club, which originally stems from his family's past playing for the club. We hear how his parents miss having him around, and we see Hatton having a conversation over the phone with his fiancé.

Pacquiao usually is asleep early in the evening, but he is waiting up for a delayed visitor coming from the Phillipines. It's Manny's mother, and it's her first time coming to the United States and the first time she will be seeing him fight in person.

Next for Pacquiao comes a trip to San Francisco. It's Filipino Heritage Night, and Manny Pacquiao bobble head dolls are given out to the crowd. There is a massive crowd gathered for Pacquiao and the other ceremonies. Pacquiao has to throw out the first pitch and is introduced in front of an enthusiastic, packed stadium. The pitch manages to reach the catcher's glove, avoiding any embarrassment.

Next we hear a lot of verbal sparring between Mayweather Sr. and Roach, each talking their opponent down and talking their own team up. Both men say they have the "better fighter," and the fight is now less than a week away.

The final episode of Hatton Pacquiao 24/7 will premier on Friday, May 1st at 9:30 PM. The Pacquiao Hatton fight airs the next day on HBO Pay-Per-View.
