The Triangle Choke: ICF Shattered Review

Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky hosted ICF Shattered on Saturday, January 24th. A raucous, sold out crowd cheered every take down and strike in an action pack card.
Overall, the card was very entertaining providing quality undercard action and intense, exciting championship bouts. Team Vision, was very impressive ending the night with perfect 6-0 record including two championship victories and a main event victory by Victor O’Donnell.

What stood out:
- I arrived early, as I always do. The first thing that stood out was a full parking lot. As I entered the venue; it was jam packed. The crowd was already loud and ready for action
- John “Hacksaw” Hayes, although not the prettiest fighter, has immense talent with a large fan base to top it off. He had an impressive victory over Shane Robertson
- Team Vision’s Steve Muldrow defeated Matt Egner for the 155 lb title. This was a great fight. Muldrow was able to dictate where the fight was held. He used his strength to keep the dangerous Egner on the mat.
- For the ICF 205 lb title, Champion George Oiler defended his title and perfect record against Team Vision’s T.J. Ball. Ball used his brute strength to escape Oiler’s submission attempts and a strong ground and pound game to end the fight and become the new ICF Champ.
- In the main event, Victor O’Donell competed against Neal Craft. Victor, as always, came out aggressive and landed some heavy blows which ended the fight early in the 1st round. Neal Craft was woozy and took some time to regain his composure. Victor is a very complete and impressive mixed-martial artist with a very bright future. Stay tuned as we will interview Victor in the very near future.
