Maximum FC 23 - "Unstoppable" Preview

The Maximum Fighting Championship will bring us MFC 23 which be broadcast live on HDNET on December 4 th. The main event is a very solid one with two former UFC fighters facing off as Thales Leites will battle Dean Lister. The card also includes MFC favorite Jason "The Athlete" MacDonald as well as Marvin Eastman.

MFC 23 Main Event: Thales Leites vs. Dean Lister :

It has been almost a year since Dean “The Boogeyman” Lister has been in the cage. He competed at UFC 92 against Yushin Okami losing via a UD. Lister has fought the best of the best including Nate Marquardt, Jeremy Horn and Ricardo Arona. This is a big fight for Lister has he hopes to get back in the UFC. Thales Leites made a sudden plunge following two consecutive losses, one of which was to Anderson Silva. Leites is proof that if a fighter isn’t exciting, he is out. Thales had a record of 5-3 in the UFC’s Octagon and an overall record of 14-3. He is one of the best BJJ practitioners in all of MMA. This should be a very entertaining fight with Leites ground game will be the difference.
