The Triangle Choke - Preview for MMA Big Show: Retribution

MMA BIGSHOW invades the Belterra Casino Resort and Spa on Saturday, March 7th. The event features “Relentless” Roger Bowling vs. Seth Baczynski and Mojo Horne vs. Brendan Seguin and also includes 10 other bouts.

MMA Big Show: Roger BowlingScott Dryden’s Preview & Predictions for the main bouts:

  • For the MMA Big Show Welterweight Championship, Roger Bowling will defend his title against IFL/Bodog veteran Seth Baczynski. Baczynski brings a 10-4 record to Retribution and big fight experience. He is on a 3 fight winning streak. Seth prides himself on being a well rounded and exciting fighter. Roger Bowling owns a 4-0 pro record. Bowling is an excellent athlete with a work ethic to match. He continues to develop his game and conditioning becoming well versed in all disciplines. This will be a fast paced fight with both competitors being aggressive. In front of his local fans, Bowling will continue his winning streak and retain his title via submission late in the 1st round.
  • In the Middleweight division, Mojo Horne will defend his title against Brendan Seguin. Seguin brings a wealth of experience to the cage with 30 professional fights under his belt. He has battled the likes of Denis Kang and Joe Doerksen. Mojo Horne brings an exciting style and a career record of 5-0 which includes a victory over UFC veteran Josh Haynes. Mojo has impressive striking ability including lethal kicks. Mojo’s stand up game will prove to be too much for Seguin winning via TKO due to strikes late in the 2nd round.

In the end, both Roger Bowling and Mojo Horne prove yet again they are worthy to fight the biggest names in the sport. In the past year both Bowling and Horne have experienced “big name” fighters back out to various injuries; injuries I would describe as phantom injuries. I’ve watched fighters at all levels and certainly believe both can compete on the sport’s biggest stages.
