Brian Rogers gets new opponent at Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson

Cleveland knockout artist Brian "The Predator" Rogers to face Ian Rammel on Strikeforce card in Columbus

Brian "The Predator" Rogers will be sponsored by Intimidation Clothing at Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson in Columbus on Saturday, March 5th.

Just days after it appeared that the fight card for the Strikefore: Feijao vs. Henderson in Columbus was complete, the card has seen a couple of changes. Earlier this week Strikeforce announced that Meisha Tate's knee injury has taken her out of the scheduled battle with Marloes Coenen resulting in Liz Carmouche getting the title shot at the Strikeforce Women's Welterweight (135 lb) belt. And now, after ProFighting-fans.com was the first to report that Mojo Horne pulled out of his fight with Brian "The Predator" Rogers, we have learned that Rogers' new opponent will be Ian Rammel, another Cincinnati-based fighter.

Rammel is 4-2 in his pro career after a 7-1 amateur career fighting in regional MMA promotions in the Cincinnati area. In his most recent fight the Middleweight defeated TJ Ball (1-2) via submission at Absolute Action MMA VII.

Rogers is a product of the Strong Style Fight Team and the strong MMA scene in and around Cleveland, Ohio, and is 6-2 in his young MMA career with 5 straight 1st round KO/TKO wins. Most of Rogers' fights have come for the highly-respected NAAFS promotion.

In addition to the Rogers vs. Rammel match-up, rumors are floating around that another fight could be added to the card. ProFighting-fans.com takes reporting accurate information VERY seriously and until we have been granted the okay from our reliable sources, we will NOT lead fans astray with unfounded rumors. If we learn of anything official in the works we will post online at ProFighting-fans.com as soon as possible.
