The Ultimate Fighter returned on Spike TV for their third season in 2006 featuring rivals Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock coaching 16 fighters; 8 Lightweights and 8 Middleweight fighters. Kendall Grove defeated Ed Herman to win the Middleweights and Michael Bisping was the champion of the Light Heavyweight group with both earning the 6-figure contracts from the UFC.
