Pete Spratt (19-15) vs. Nathan Gunn (7-0) – Fight # 1

1st Round – The Secret Weapon is taken to the ground early.  Gunn easily passes the guard of Spratt.  Spratt is fighting to get back to his feet.  Gunn takes his back as Spratt finally makes it to his feet.  Gunn immediatley gets him back to the ground.  As quickly as he Spratt makes it to his feet, he is just as quick to be taken back down.  Not much action is taking place on the ground.  They get back up and back down within seconds.  Gunn finishes the round attempting a rear naked choke.  Unofficial Scoring – Gunn 10-9

2nd Round – Spratt stuns Gunn with a right hand but is having a hard time finishing Gunn even with landing some heavy shots.  Gunn gets Spratt in the corner so he can get his wits.  Gunn seems back and gets Spratt to the ground with a takedown.  Spratt not doing much from his back.  Gunn trying to utilize short punches and elbows.  They are back up for a moment until Gunn scores with another takedown.  Gunn, now on the back of Spratt, trying to sink a choke in.  Spratt is trying to get to his feet, instead almost goes out of the ropes.  Gunn gets knocked out with a hard and heavy right uppercut.  Gunn remains motionless on the mat floor.

Ryan Jimmo (10-1)  vs. Marvin Eastman (16-10-1) – Fight # 2

1st Round – Jimmo brings his 10 fight win streak into this light heavyweight bout.  Jimmo, in his karate stance, finally lands a right hand at the 3:50 mark.  Eastman initiates a clinch onto the ropes.  Jimmo defending well, lands a uppercut while controlling Eastman’s body.  Jimmo clinches and puts Eastman into the corner.  Eastman reverses position, takes control with a couple of knees inside.  The ref centers the fighters back to the middle.  Jimmo, using every part of the ring, gets tied up by Eastman.  The round ends with both fighters in the clinch.  Unofficial Scoring – Jimmo 10-9

2nd Round – Jimmo is quick to land a low leg kick.  Eastman gets tagged but clinches anyway.  From the clinch, Jimmo and Eastman trade knees.  Jimmo lands a elbow, meanwhile staying in the clinch.  Jimmo is unsuccessful with a trip attempt.  Jimmo trips up Eastman, but Eastman lands in side control when they hit the floor.  Eastman using elbows from side position.  Jimmo gets to full guard.  Eastman not landing many clean strikes.  Jimmo trying to control the head of Eastman.  Both fighters look to be tiring.  Eastman attempts a slam, but unsuccessful.  The ref stands them back up for the final 10 seconds.  Lucky for Jimmo, as he lands a head kick.  Unofficial Scoring – Eastman 10-9

3rd Round – A couple of low leg kicks by Jimmo is answered with a clinch by Eastman.  Jimmo controls Eastman to a neutral corner.  Jimmo hitting on some inside punches and elbows.  Both fighters are landing light knees up the middle.  Eastman unsuccessful with a judo throw.  The referee centers back in the middle.  Eastman fires out aggressive this time, and gets Jimmo to the ground.  Eastman is trying to choke Jimmo with an elbow from side position.  Eastman continues to control from the top position, until Jimmo crawls out of the ropes.  Jimmo is centered back in the middle on his back by the referee.  Jimmo is now holding on for dear life as Eastman looks to get his head loose and reign down punches.  The referee reminds them to get busy again.  Eastman connects with punches to the body.  With 40 seconds the referee stands back up.  Eastman wants nothing to do with stand up and clinches with Jimmo.  They remain in a clinch for the rest of the round.  Unofficial Scoring – Eastman 10-9 ;  Unofficial Decision Eastman 29-28

Mike Nickels (7-2) vs. David Heath (13-5) - Fight # 3

1st Round – From the center of the ring Heath hits with a leg kick.  Nickels gets tagged after missing with a right hand.  Heath stuffs a jab in the face of Heath.  Nickels returns the favor.  Nickels has a muay thai clinch, however loses it when Heath strongarms out.  Heath tags Nickels with a flurry of punches.  Both fighters are throwing combos, but not hitting with much.  Nickels eats a knee from  Heath.  Heath hits with a low leg kick.  Nickels looks in better condition.  Nickels hits with a left jab.  They clinch after a missed combination by Heath.  Heath hits with a hard right hand to finish the round.  Nickels is bloodied up as he returns to his corner.  Unofficial Scoring – Heath 10-9

2nd Round – Nickels opens up the 2nd with an aggressive flurry of strikes.  Heath looks to be hurt.  Nickels hitting with knees, elbows, punches.  Heath, with his back to the ropes, finally hits with a left hook.  The referee halts the fight to put Heath’s mouthguard back in.  Nickels uses the muay thai clinch to land some knees.  Nickels connects with a combination of punches.  Heath, barely hanging on, fights back with punches of his own.  Nickels  takes a jab to the face, then dishes out two of his own.  Heath is taking alot of punishment with his hands down.  Heath fights back with some wild hooks.  Heath now looks to be spitting out his mouthguard on purpose in order to catch his breath.  Nickels misses on a right, then takes a left to the face.  Heath with a quick left jab.  Both fighters miss with wild strikes to end the round.  Unofficial Scoring – Nickels 10-9

3rd Round – Looks to be dead even going into the last round.  Nickels hits with a left right combo.  Heath looses his mouthpiece a fourth time and looses a point for the stunt.  Action is restarted.  Heath and Nickels hit with combos.  A left jab is followed by a hard right hand by Nickels.  Nickels cant seem to finish Heath, although tagging him with several punches.  Nickels backs Heath up with a right.  Heath drops his hands and takes five punches with no defense.  Heath takes one but gives out two.  Nickels misses on a takedown.  Nickels finally gets him to the ground, takes his back, and locks in a fight ending rear naked choke.

Luigi Fioravanti (15-5) vs. John Alessio (25-13) – Fight # 4

1st Round – Alessio rushes in but no action takes place.  Luigi hits with a left hook.  Alessio prefers ro strike with leg kicks.  Luigi throws a wild leg kick then a right hand, missing with both.  Alessio hits with a left jab to the face of Luigi.  A left hook by Luigi traded with a left by Alessio.  A leg kick connects by Luigi, who pushes Alessio to the corner.  Alessio is now back in the center of the ring.  Luigi hits on a hard right.  Alessio takes four punches to the body.  Luigi is trying to mix his kicks in with combinations.  Alessio ducks a right hand by Luigi.  They fall into a clinch, where Alessio hits with an inside hook.  A right hand seemed to dizzy Alessio slightly, as the bell rings.  Unofficial Scoring – Fioravanti 10-9

2nd Round – Alessio dishing out inside leg kicks.  Luigi answers with an overhand right.  Luigi mixes in a low leg kicks but gets tagged with a left hand as he rushes in.  Luigi more aggressive with the striking.  Alessio hits with a left right combo.  Luigi hits Alessio with a low leg kick.  Luigi catches a leg kick but cant dump Alessio on his back.  Alessio wants to trade, however Luigi wants a technical bout.  Right hand hits for John Alessio followed with another.  Fioravanti answers with a left hook.  The round ends with Alessio hitting Fioravanti with a front kick to the stomach.  Unofficial Decision – Fioravanti 10-9

3rd Round – The 3rd begins with a long feeling out process.  Alessio cant get Fioravanti to the ground despite a double leg attempt.  An overhand right is followed up with a left kick to the bocy.  Alessio surprises Fioravanti with a heavy right that grazed his chin.  Alessio finished it with some ground and pound punches from the floor.

Carlo Prater (24-6-1) vs. Antonio McKee (22-3-2) - Fight # 5

1st Round – A touch of gloves gets them started.  McKee throws and hits with a left leg kick.  McKee picks Prater up and slams him to the mat.  While in Prater’s full guard, McKee stays busy by controlling his opponents head.  McKee stands back up and connects with a right hand to the body of Prater.  Staying inside of the guard, McKee hits again.  Prater pulls McKee’s head to his body for a good 30 seconds.  McKee finally uses an elbow from the guard.  The longtime IFL’er keeps a steady pace with left hooks and right hooks from the guard.  McKee now switches gears and starts hitting the body of Prater.  Unofficial Scoring – McKee 10-9

2nd Round – Prater trying to stay competitive on his feet, but gets taken to the mat with a shoot and double leg takedown.  From full guard, McKee pounds on the body of Prater.  The action momentarily comes to a stall.  Prater just holds on, hoping to get saved.  The referee wants Prater to get checked by the doctor.  The referee reminds Prater to get on his back for the reset.  McKee reverts back to abusing the body of Prater.  Prater is showing no offense at all.  McKee takes turns alternating left and right hands.  Back on their feet, McKee works for another takedown.  Prater holds on to a choke attempt.  The round ends with McKee in a choke.  Unofficial Scoring – McKee 10-9

2nd Round – McKee is backed into the corner, then moves to a neutral one.  McKee hits with a side kick.  Prater is doing very little offensively.  Prater finally throws  a right hand but misses.  A right jab by McKee followed by a right to the body.  Both fighters drop to the ground, where Prater holds onto McKee’s body.  Prater peppers his body with right hands.  McKee tries to escape from the body lock, and does by standing then slamming Prater on his back.  The horn sounds with Prater attempting a single leg.  Unofficial Scoring – McKee 10-9 ; Unofficial Decision – McKee 30-27

Jason MacDonald (21-12) vs. Travis Lutter (9-5) - Fight # 6

1st Round – The main event is underway.  MacDonald is using his boxing to start with, Lutter is getting his timing down.  Lutter locks up with MacDonald.  MacDonald turns Lutter into a corner, only to be reversed again.  Lutter gets a takedown into side control.  MacDonald is using a half guard and controlling the right arm of Lutter.  Lutter cleverly mounts MacDonald.  Lutter gets his arm free and puts it to work with jabs to the face of MacDonald.  Lutter takes his opponents back.  MacDonald trying to hold onto Lutter’s arm.  Lutter begins his assault with shots to the head.  As he continues he tries to sneak the arm under MacDonalds chin.  MacDonald does a solid job of defending, as the bell rings.  Unofficial Scoring – Lutter 10-9

2nd Round – MacDonald hits first with a right hook.  Lutter clinches to avoid any punishment from MacDonald.  After 30 seconds in the clich, Lutter gets the fight to the ground.  In side control now, Lutter is laying on MacDonald but not working too much.  Lutter working for dominant position, gets it at the 1:50 mark.  In full mount, Lutter cant get control of his arm.  He almost sinks in the RNC at the 30 second mark, again MacDonald defends the RNC with his strength.  Unofficial Scoring – Lutter 10-9

3rd Round – MacDonald will be looking for the knockout after convincingly losing the first two rounds.  MacDonald works to get on top of Lutter.  Lutter is controlling his arms, while MacDonald stretches across his body.  MacDonald is now in half guard, working his sharp and short elbows.  Back in full guard, MacDonald is still using elbows for his offense.  Lutter is clearly trying to defend from elbows to the face.  Lutter is pulling MacDonald’s head to his chest.  MacDonald continues to dominate this round until Lutter pushes him off with his feet.  MacDonald hits with a wild right hand.  Unofficial Scoring – MacDonald 10-9 ; Unofficial Decision – Lutter 29-28
