UFC 114 Pay-per-View Play-by-Play: Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (30-7) vs. Rashad Evans (19-1-1)

1st round – This light heavyweight has begun.  Jackson is caught with a right hand that knocks him off balance.  Evans comes in and is caught in Jackson’s arms.  Jackson has his back against the cage fence and is trying to land a knee.  Evans pushes Jackson against the fence.  Jackson is trying to contol Evans’ head.  Evans is trying to takedown Jackson.  They continue to be clinched.  Jackson lands a knee and Herb Dean splits them up.  Evans rushes in and takes Jackson to the ground and on his back.  Evans is now in side control and trying to pin down his left arm.  Evans lands a punch to Jackson’s face.  Jackson gets up and Evans lands a punch to his face.  They are in each others arms along the octagon fence.  Evans is pushing Jackson against the fence.  Evans is working the body of Jackson.  Jackson is trying to seperate from Evans grasp.  Herb Dean seperates them again.  Evans is in a low stance and comes in and is tagged by Jackson as the bell ends the round. (Evans 10-9)

2nd round – They both come out for round two looking fresh.  Evans has his low stance and Jackson is in a stand up stance.  Jackson lands an uppercut after locking an overhand right by Evans.  Evans is pressing Jackson against the octagon fence.  Jackson is defending against a takedown.  Evans lands a knee to the leg of Jackson.  Jackson misses with an overhand right on the break.  Evans stays low and hits with a body shot.  Jackson catches Evans and controls his head while his back is against the octagon fence.  Herb Dean warns both guys to work some more.  He breaks them up and seperates them again.  Jackson misses with a left hook.  Evans backs up after a fake by Jackson.  Evans comes in with a left hand and makes Jackson miss with his dominant right.  Evans throws up his left hand as a taunt to Jackson.  Evans comes in and is caught by Jackson, but not until his back is against the octagon fence.  Evans is going hard for the takedown, Jackson defends and doesnt allow it to happen.  (Evans 10-9)

3rd round – The final round is underway and Jackson looks fresh but lacks confidence.  Evans comes in with his low stance.  Jackson makes him miss with his left hand.  Jackson grazes Evans with a right hand near his ear.  Evans contiues to switch stances and trying to confuse Jackson.  Evans throws a right  but Jackson lands a right and puts Evans on his back.  He cant finish him yet. Jackson is on top and trying to keep Evans on the ground but Evans gets up.  Jackson has a leg but Evans gets loose.  Jackson is tired and is giving Evans time to recover.  Evans misses with a looping right.  Jackson inches forward and steps at himbut misses with a right and is taken to the ground.  Jackson is on his back and Evans is in side control and throwing rights.  Jackson is tired and holding onto Evans head.  Evans continues to land punches from side control as Jackson turns over and tries to get up.  Jackson gets up and cant break fre as Evans gets anotehr takedown.  Evans has Jackson’s back and is landing some shots to his face.  Jackson gets up but cant land anymore punches.   (Jackson 10-9) (Evans 29-28)

UFC 114 Pay-per-View Play-by-Play: Michael Bisping (19-3) vs. Dan Miller (11-3, 1 NC)

1st round – This co-main event will be contested in the middleweight division.  Yves Lavigne will be the referee.  Bisping gets tagged with a straight left and then a left hook.  Miller hits Bisping low and he takes a couple of seconds to recover.  Bisping throws a heavy right hand, but misses.  Miller lands a right to the body of Bisping.  Miller hits with a knee to the body.  Bisping lands a good right hand and Miller answers with a short left hand to the body.  Miller lands an uppercut and Bisping misses with a heavy right.  Miller goes to the body and makes Bisping miss with a head kick.  Bisping hits with a left hook and then is answered by a Miller leg kick.  Miller goes to the body of Bisping.  Bisping lands a couple of effective right hands.  Miller lands a leg kick and a right to the body.  Miller counters a right from Bisping with a right of his own.  Bisping hits with a right hand above the ear of Miller.  Bisping hits with a right hand that makes Miller retreat.  They both land right hands and Miller a left again.  Bisping pushes Miller back with a loopy left hook.  Miller lands an uppercut as the bell ends the 1st round.  (Bisping 10-9)

2nd round – Miller answers a right hand by Bisping with a short left.  Miller hits with an inside leg kick.  Miller hits with another inside leg kick.  Miller goes to the body of Bisping.  Miller moves to his right ahnd has his leg kick caught by Bisping.  Bisping catches Miller with a right hand.  Miller comes back with a right to the body.  Miller attacks the inside leg of Bisping.  Bisping is tagged with two more right to his body.  He throws and hits with a leg kick to the head of Miller.  Miller goes in for a takedown and has it stuffed.  bisping lands a big right hand.  Miller goes in for the inside leg kick.  Miller misses with a right jab.  Bisping is pushed back by a body shot by Miller.  Bisping connects with a straight right hand.  Miller is tagged with a right to the head.  Miller hits with a short left but is answered with a right hand by Bisping.  Bisping connects with a grazing right hand.  Miller throws an inside leg kick but its caught by Bisping.  Bisping misses with a couple of looping rights.  Miller hits with his best right hand at the buzzer.  (Bisping 10-9)

3rd round – The final round of this co-main event is underway.  Miller hits with another inside leg kick but gets tagged with a hard right.  Miller answers with a hard right hand.  He persues Bisping and goes to the body with his right hand.  Miller hits on the body again, but Bisping hits with a right hand too.  Miller goes back to the inside leg kick.  Bisping misses this time with a right hook.  Bisping hits with a straight jab to the face.  Miller lands a right to the body.  Miller shakes off a right by Bisping with an uppercut.  Miller gets a hard takedown and puts Bisping on his back.  Miller is on top and holds onto Bisping’s waist.  Bisping makes it back to his feet.  Miller goes to the body of Bisping.  Bisping answers with a heavy right, but cant land flush.  Bisping jabs a right to Miller’s face.  Miller hits with a kick to the right side of Bisping’s body.  Miller is tagged with a right hand and it makes him go for a takedown.  Bisping hits with a right hand as they break free.  Miller connects with a right hand and Bisping does as well.  They both land rights as the bell sounds and ends this fight.  (Miller 10-9) (Bisping 29-28)

UFC 114 Pay-per-View Play-by-Play: Todd Duffee (6-0) vs. Mike Russow (12-1, 1 NC)

1st round – Josh Rosenthal is the referee for this heavyweight battle.  Russow tries to take Duffee down but cant.  Duffee is swinging for the fences.  Russow hits with a right hand.  Duffee hits with a right upercut making Russow drops to his knees.  Duffee lands another right hand.  Russow is tagged with a leg jab twice.  Duffee has to defend against a takedown from Russow.  Duffee hits with a left jab.  Russow lunges and hits with a left hand.  Russow misses another takedown attempt.  Duffee hits with a short uppercut.  Russow continues to get clipped with punches but stays in front of Duffee.  Duffee hits with a left hook and a right jab.  Russow hits with a couple of uppercuts and then retreats back and takes a breath.  Russow misses with his jab attempts.  Duffee hits again with an uppercut and a couple of jabs.  Russow misses a takedown and a body lock.  Duffee hits with a jav and connects with an uppercut.  Russow continues to stay in front of him.  Duffee hits with a high kick.  Russow is beginning to bleed as the bell ends the 1st round.  (Duffee 10-9)

2nd round – Duffee again stalking early. Duffee’s hands a bit low, but Russow hasn’t shown he can strike yet. Russow shoots briefly, but Duffee just moves away. Russow backs up to the cage, but Duffee returns to the center. Russow lands a right that catches Duffee’s attention. Duffee lands a few of his own before shrugging off another takedown. Russow with a left. Duffee wings an overhand right that misses. Duffee patient, almost too patient. Duffee switching stances and looking for openings. Russow has yet to show that he’ll threaten, but Duffee only wants to fight in the center of the cage. Duffee’s attack slowing. He’s winning, for sure, but crowd wants more pressure. Duffee lands a stiff counter on a Russow punch, then resets. Stuffed shot from Duffee. One minute left. Boos from the crowd. Russow shoots in and Duffee moves away. Right for Duffee, then a left. Duffee fighting safe, and crowd doesn’t approve. (Duffee 10-9)

3rd round – Duffee shakes off a couple of takedown attmepts by Russow.  He lands an uppercut that puts Russow off balance but doesnt finish him.  Russow finally lands a big right hand punch and puts Duffee out before he hits the ground.  He puts one more on him before the referee can jump in and save him.

Official Decision – Russow over Duffee by 3rd round TKO (2:35)

UFC 114 Pay-per-View Play-by-Play: Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (18-3) vs.Jason Brilz (18-2-1)

1st round – Yves Lavigne is the ref for this light heavyweight match-up.  Little Nog dances around Brilz, and Brilz throws a leg kick, but misses.  Little Noginches closer and hits with a knee to the midsection.  Brilz shoots but cant get the takedown.  Little Nog hits with a left hand.  Little Nog connects with a leg kick to the outside of Brilz leg, Brilz catches the kick and turns it into a takedown.  Brilz is trying to pass Little Nog’s guard, he gets into half guard.  Little Nog scrambles and gets to his knees where Brilz drags him back to the canvas.  Little Nog is covering up as Brilz hits with hamer fists and elbows from top.  Brilz tries to get up and Little Nog takes his back.  they seperate and reset in the center.  Brilz hits with an inside leg kick.  Little Nog defends agianst a takedown.  They reset again and Little Nog hits with a left hand.  He hits again with a left hand as the bell ends the round.  (Brilz 10-9)

2nd round – Brilz gets a single leg takedown but Little Nog gets his head in a choke.  Brilz escapes and reverses to take control of Little Nog’s head.  He has a tight choke on Little Nog.  Little Nog rolls over and looks to be struggling.  Brilz hits with a left elbow to the face of Little Nog.  Brilz is smothering Little Nog and has a arm across the throat of Little Nog.  Brilz continues to work from side control.  Brilz takes a guillotine choke and rolls over.   Little Nog recognizes the choke and escapes with ease to his feet.  Brilz gets a lock on Little Nog and lands a knee to the midsection.  The break away and seperate.  Brilz its with a wild right hook to the face of Little Nog.  Brilz ducks under a punch and goes in for a takedown, but Little Nog escapes and defends.  Nog lands a knee to the chin of Brilz.  Little Nog hits with a left hand and Brilz rocks him with a left hook and right hand combination.  Little Nog looks confused and backs off as the round is finsihed.  (Brilz 10-9)

3rd round – The final round is underway.  Little Nog pushes some jabs at Brilz but doesnt connect.  He finally hits with a jab and as Brilz shoots, Nog grabs his neck as he falls on his back.  Nog sweeps and is now on top.  Nog pushes Brilz against the fence and hits with a right hand.  Brilz goes in for a takedown, but then drops down to take an ankle.  Nogueira tags him with a right hand as they seperate and reset.  Little Nog hits with a knee up the middle and Brilz goes in for a takedown.  Nog sprawls and defends moving into side control.  Brilz is trying to hold onto Nog’s arm.  Brilz scrambles and makes it to his feet.  Nog hits with a knee and Brilz goes in for a body lock.  Brilz gets a takdown.  Little Nog is working on pouding on the head of Brilz.  Little Nog moves into a crucifix position, but cant keep it and Brilz escapes.  Brilz is on top and gets swept.  Little Nog is on top and trying to move into a mount. Brilz sneaks out and survives with Little Nog on top.  (Nogueira 10-9) (Brilz 29-28)

UFC 114 Pay-per-View Play-by-Play: Diego Sanchez (23-3) vs. John Hathaway (13-0)

1st round – This welterweight bout will be refereed by the veteran Herb Dean.  Diego hits with a left hand first.  Diego rushes in and tries to take Hathaway down.  Hathaway is agianst the octagon fence and has control of Diego’s wrist.  Diego continues to work for the takedown.  Hathaway hits with an elbow to Diego’s face.  Diego takes Hathaway down but only for a moment.  They reset in the middle of the octagon.  Hathaway hits with a loopy right hook and then agian with a striaght right hand.  Diego misses with a left hand and then backpedals.  Hathaway drops Diego with a huge knee.  He jumps in Diego’s guard and begins to pummel him.  Herb Dean lets it go and Diego looks to have survived.  Hathaway continues to hammer down with strikes, but Diego is recovered and holds onto Hathaway’s head.  Hathaway breaks free and hits Diego in the face again with two more ground strikes.  Diego scrambles and tries to get to his feet, but it looks like Hathaway is able to keep him on his back.  Hathaway uses hammer fists to try and get a better position.  He then hits Diego with several elbows until the bell saves him from any more damage.  (Hathaway 10-9)

2nd round – Diego looks drained coming out for the 2nd; Hathaway looks fresh.  Hathaway misses with a left hand but hits with a high kick.  Diego hits with a left hand to the face of Hathaway.  Diego also adds a leg kick to Hathaway’s face.  Diego puts his left hand again in Hathaway’s face.  A knee and a superman punch find a home on the body of Sanchez.  Diego hits with a straight left hand.  He then races in but misses with a combination.  Diego disguises a takedown and gets one.  He puts Hathaway on his back for the first time tonight.  Hathway gets up but Diego has control of Hathaway’s waist and presses him against the fence.  Hathaway hits Diego in the face with an elbow and then a straight right.  Diego hits with a couple of leg kicks.  Hathaway delivers a right hand that makes Diego backpedal.  Hathaway tries to take Diego down, but cant.  Hathaway hits with a hard right hand but Diego takes it and stays in front of him.  Diego partially hits with a right hook.  Hathwat hits with a knee and Diego answers with a short right as the bell ends the middle round. (Hathaway 10-9)

3rd round – The final round is underway, and, Hathaway is first to hit.  He hits with a right hand.  Sanchez fakes a huge hook, but hits with a straight right instead.  He then hits with a left uppercut.  He moves in and hits with a right – left combo to Hathaway’s face.  Hathaway misses with a right hand and it gives Diego time to set up a takedown attempt.  He cant get Hathaway to the floor, and Hathaway hits with a knee up the middle.  Diego shoots and Hathaway catches him and pushes him against the octagon fence.  Diego breaks free and meets his opponent back in the middle of the octagon.  Hathway makes Diego eat a right hand and a left follows.  Hathaway hits with a high kick and then a right elbow.  Hathway gets a body lock and takes Diego to the ground.  Diego scrambles and gets back up.  He hits Hathaway with a right hand, but it is answered with a left buy Hathaway.  They both throw strikes as the bell ends this round.  (Hathaway 10-9) (Hathaway 30-27)

UFC 114 Prelims Live Play-by-Play: Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim (12-0-1, 1 NC) vs. Amir Sadollah (4-1)

1st round – This welterweight bout is refereed by Steve Mazagatti.  They exchange low leg kicks and then Kim gets the takedown.  Kim is in Sadollah’s half guard, but trying to pass.  Not much action, but Kim continues to try and advance his position.  Kim is now in Sadollah’s full guard.  Sadollah is trying to keep Kim at a safe distance away.  Kim moves into half guard now and then back to full guard.  Kim is working his shoulders by popping Sadollah in the face.  Sadollah is using a lot of energy playing defense.  Kim is bullying him around the octagon, and now he puts Sadollah up against the fence.  Kim moves into half guard and hits Sadollah with a right hand.  Sadollah scrambles and tries to get up.  Kim takes his back and is trying to slip his arm under Sadollah’s chin.  Kim switches his concentration and gets both hooks in.  Sadollah survives with help from the bell.  (Kim 10-9)

2nd round – The 2nd round is underway and Sadollah races in.  Kim fakes a shot and backpedals to miss a leg kick.  Kim hits with an outside kick and Sadollah hits with an inside kick.  Kim takes Sadollah down with ease.  He passes guard within seconds and is into side control.  He is in dominate position and tries to isolate Sadollah’s arm.  Kim moves up and has Sadollah’s arm pinned, but Sadollah escapes to his feet.  Kim scrambles and locks up with Sadollah.  Sadollah defends, but then is taken to the ground.  He gets up and Kim hits with a knee to the outside of Sadollah’s thigh.  Now, Kim drops Sadollah with a hard takedown.  From half guard, Kim puts some elbows in his face.  Sadollah is trying to push out of the bottom position, however, Kim sticks to him like glue.  Kim works elbows to the side of his body.  Kim is trying to get his leg free and mount Sadollah.  Kim is trying to pin Sadollah’s arm across his face.  Kim begins to tee off with his right hand.  Sadollah cant get his right hand free.  Kim lets go and Sadollah gets his arm free.  Kim moves to mount, and then takes his back and wails down with punches as the bell sounds to end the round.  (Kim 10-9)

3rd round – Both fighters look fresh.  Sadollah moves forward with some intent.  Kim is playing it safe and makes Sadollah miss with a kick.  Kim shoots in and takes Sadollah down with ease.  Sadollah moves to full guard and has a body lock on Kim.  Kim pushes Sadollah against the octagon fence.  Kim puts pressure on Sadollah’s chest.  Sadollah is trying to defend but cant.  Kim switches position with ease and has Sadollah mounted.  Kim is trying to level Sadollah out.  Kim drops elbows in Sadollah’s face.  Sadollah pushes out but cant get free.  Kim sticks right on him and adds a couple of strikes.  Sadollah throws up a sloppy triangle attempt.  Kim defends and pushes the attempt aside.  Kim moves into Sadollah’s half guard.  Kim now takes Sadollah’s back.  Sadollah scrambles and gets up.  SAdollah misses with a right hand and Kim misses with a takedown.  Sadollah misses with a flying knee and Kim takes him down again.  Sadollah gets up, but Kim pushes him against the fence.  They break free and Sadollah misses with an uppercut.  Sadollah hits with a fright hand and then misses with a knee.  Kim closes with Sadollah and  keeps him close until the bell ends it.  (Kim 10-9) (Kim 30-27)

UFC 114 Prelims Live Play-by-Play: Efrain Escudero (13-1) vs. Dan Lauzon (12-3)

1st round – Josh Rosenthal is the referee for this 155 pound fight.  A Big swing and miss by Lauzon gets it started.  Lauzon partially hits with a high leg kick.  After missing, Lauzon gets tagged with a nice combination from Escudero.  Escudero hits with a low leg kick.  Lauzon lunges at Escudero, but misses, and is tangled up with Escudero.  Escudero hits with a knee to the midsection and then hits with a right hand.  Escudero presses Lauzon up against the octagon fence looking for a takedown.  Lauzon resists and resets in the center of the cage.  Both fighters miss with some combos.  Lauzon hit with a leg kick to Escudero’s midsection.  Escudero answers with a leg kick of his own.  A little lull in action is follwed by a combination miss by Escudero.  Escudero hits with a low leg kick and then resets in the middle.  Lauzon partially hits with a high kick.  Lauzon hits with a nice left hand but is answered with a powerful low leg kick. (Escudero 10-9)

2nd round – Both fighters look fresh as the 2nd begins.  Lauzon stands in front of Escudero and is hit with two leg kicks.  Lauzon continues to push forward and misses with a superman punch.  Escudero clinches and hits with a couple knees and some right hands.  Lauzon covers up and somehow survives.  He shoots for the takedown, but Escudero sprawls and defends for the moment.  They are at a standstill against the octagon fence.  Lauzon breaks away and resets in the middle.  Escudero checks a Lauzon leg kick.  Lauzon looks to be slowing down and takes a right hand.  Lauzon checks a leg kick and misses with a wild right hook.  Escudero just missed with a hard right hand, but stays in front of Lauzon.  Escudero jumps and hits with a flying knee.  Lauzon answers with a hard right that partially hits.  Escudero hits with some strikes from in close, then breaks away.  Lauzon is tripped up and goes to the floor.  Escudero lets him up and they reset in the middle.  Escudero hit with a leg kick again.  Lauzon misses with a left hand and Escudero shoots, but cant get the takedown.  The bell ends as Escudero misses with some wild strikes.  (Escudero 10-9)

3rd round – As the lightweights come out for the 3rd and final round, Lauzon looks fatigued and Escudero looks fresh.  Lauzon pushes a jab in Escudero’s face.  Lauzon misses with a left hand,but hits with a leg kick.  It looks as if the kick hit Escudero a little low.  A thirty second break and they are back at it.  Escudero hits with a left and then gets in tight, but misses with his exchange.  Lauzon comes forward and hits with a lazy leg kick.  Lauzon misses with an uppercut and is tagged with a right hand by Escudero.  Escudero hits with a right hand, and even though Lauzon blocks it, it still pushes him back.  They are tangled up against the fence, but break away after a moment.  A knee by Escudero is followed with an uppercut.  A hard legt hand is missed by Lauzon.  An Escudero high kick misses by a lot.  He then comes back with a low kick and hits.  Lauzon hits with a leg kick to the midsection.  He throws a left hand, but its blocked.  Escudero dances around in front of Lauzon and the crowd boos.  Lauzon hits with a left hand and then check a Escudero leg kick.  Escudero hits with a low leg kick and another.  The referee steps in and gives Lauzon some time and takes a point away from Escudero.  Lauzon looks ready and they get it back on.  Lauzon hits with a left and Escudero answeres with an exchange.  The last ten seconds had a lot of action.  (Lauzon 10-9) (Escudero 29-28)

Strikeforce Challengers 8 Showtime Play-by-Play: Matt Lindland (21-7) vs. Kevin Casey (3-1)

1st round – Casey with a leg kick, then to the clinch.  Matt Lindland throws Casey to the mat and is now in the full guard of Casey.  Casey staying very active off his back, as Lindland looks to posture.  Back to the feet, with Lindland locking up the thai clinch.  Casey reverses and puts Lindland against the cage.  Lindland locks up the head of Casey and pulls guard looking for the guillotine.  Casey now on top and looking to pass the guard of Lindland.  Lindland scrambles but gives up his back.  Casey gets a hook in, and Lindland looks to turn in and defend the RNC.  Casey locks up the body triangle and has Lindland in trouble.  Lindland working the 2 on 1, peeling the hands of Casey off of his neck.  Casey is locking it up, but Lindland pushes the hands off and turns in and lands big shots to the head of Casey.  They are back on their feet now and Lindland is landing big knees to the body. (Lindland 10-9).

2nd round – Casey fakes with the punch then looks to take the fight to the ground.  Lindland clinches and puts Casey’s back on the cage.  Lindland works to the back of Casey, and Casey goes to his knees.  Lindland steps over and looks to get his hooks in.  Casey rolls and is now on his back with Lindland landing some good shots from the top.  Casey rolls to his knees with Lindland controlling his head with a front headlock.  They both stand still clinched, and Casey is looking to get the fight to the ground, but Lindland drops Casey back to his knees with the head control.  Casey looking for a leg, but Lindland is retaining control from the top.  Casey is limited from his back with his head against the cage.  Lindland staying busy with short strikes from the top.  Lindland now standing in the guard of Casey and dropping big right hands to the face of Casey.  Casey retains full guard, but Lindland stands back up in the guard.  Casey rotates his hips and looks for an arm but Lindland recognizes it and is out of trouble.  Total domination in this round by the veteran Lindland.  Lindland to the crucifix and is landing big shots with about :10 seconds to go.  Casey somehow escapes at the bell, but it was a lopsided round dominated by Lindland. (Lindland 10-9)

3rd round – Lindland with the left hand misses, and Casey counters but there isn’t much on the punches.  Lindland takes the fight right back to the ground, and Casey is looking to sweep, but Lindland is maintaining control from the top.  Lindland with elbows to the body.  Lindland now with left hands to the jaw of Casey.  Lindland is dominating the action from the top.  Lindland is now dropinng bombs from the top alternating hands as the referee calls for Casey to defend himself.  Lindland has the right arm of Casey trapped, and is dropping huge punches from the top, then alternating to elbows to the body.  Lindland stands in the guard of Casey and is still landing unanswered punches.

1st round – Woodley easily gets the takedown and works from side mount.  Woodley passes the guard and stands up and drops a shot to the body of Coy.  Woodley squares off with Coy again and then jumps on to take his back.  He is trying to choke him out.  Coy flattens out and defends against Woodley’s choke.  They both get back up and square off again.  Coy shoots in, but Woodley defends against the takedown attempt.  Now both fighters are against the fence, and Coy has Woodley with his back against the fence.  Coy begins to hit with knees to the thigh.  Woodley hits with a knee up the middle.  The ref breaks them up and Woodley hits with an overhand right.  Coy throws a kick and then shoots in for a takedown.  Woodley hits with another knee.  They step back and square off again.  Coy hits with a knee, and then they clinch.  Woodley has his back against the fnece as the end of the round bell sounds off.  (Woodley 10-9)

2nd round – The 2nd round is underway.  Woodley throws, but misses with a kick.  They both hit with exchanges.  A knee by Coy is answered by an uppercut by Woodley.  Coy rushes in and works the body of Woodley, who answers with a body shot.  Coy hits with a shot to the face and then seperates.  Woodley grabs the waist of Coy and tries to not allow him to move.  Coy is staying active with knees and from the clinch.  The ref finally breaks it up and Woodley seems to have an eye problem.  Woodley hits with a right hand, but Coy hits with a kick.  Woodley answers with a right hand of his own.  Woodley hits with a roundhouse that makes Coy fall to the mat.  He survives and Woodley takes the back of Coy.  He transitions to mount position and begins to pound out Coy.  Woodley starts to use hammer fists as his weapon.  Woodley almost submits Coy, but the bell saves him.  (Woodley 10-9)

3rd round – The final round is underway.  They square off and Coy begins to pepper the head of Woodley.  He then moves to an inside leg kick.  Coy hits with another leg kick and then hits with another jab to the face of Woodley.  A nice body shot by Coy is answered by Woodley.  Woodley gets the takedown and takes the back of Coy.  He flatens him out and then gets back up.  Coy reverses position and is now on top of Woodley.  Coy starts to hammer of Woodley.  Coy moves on top and tries to smother him.  Coy stays on top and begins to hit with punches to the body.  Coy stays on top and uses his striking, especially his elbows. (Coy 10-9; Woodley 29-28)

1st round - Roger Bowling with a big right hand to the body then two big lefts that stagger Voelker.  Bowling takes Voelker down and starts the ground and pound.  Bowling is in the half guard of Voelker.   Bowling  goes to the body and then the head of Voelker as he looks to pass to side mount.  Bowling still landing big left hands from top position.  Voelker scrambles up but eats some big punches.  Bowling headhunting now.  Huge body kick and and big right hand from Bowling.  To the clinch now, with Voelker against the cage.  Bowling pulls out then lands a head kick to the head of Voelker.  Left hand by Bowling, Voelker counters and lands an uppercut.  Voelker with the left hook but eats a counter kick from Bowling.  Big left hook from Bowling, then to the right hand to the body.  Bowling is putting huge power combos together and landing a high percentage of them.  Bowling to the uppercut, then a 4 punch combo.  Bowling eats a counter, but then connects to the body, and takes Voelker down.  Complete control by Bowling.  Bowling is now on top and in the full guard of Voelker with :30 seconds to go in the 1st.  Body shots from Bowling with 10 seconds to go. (Bowling 10-9)

2nd round – Bowling drops Voekler with a hard right hand.  He jumps on top of him and smothers him against the fence.  Voekler is attmpting to hold Bowling’s arms.  both fighters get back up and Bowling lands an uppercut.  Bowling picks Voekler up and slams him to the canvas.  Bowling is on top of  trying to hit ith some ground and pound.  Voekler cant get up and Bowling works his body until the ref stands them back up.  Voekler comes forward and gets the takedown.  He quickly moves into north south position.  They get up and Bowling trips Voekler to the ground. (Bowling 10-9)

3rd round – Voekler rocks Bowling with some heavy bombs.  Voekler gets Bowling to the ground an after an armbar attempt, they make it back up to their feet.  Bowling appears to have a problem with his left eye.  The ref gives him some time and has to ndecide if he can continue.  Bowling continues to try and clear up the problem with his eye.  The doctor is examining the eye and cant keep it open.  Over five minutes have elapsed and the doctor continues to look at his eye.  Bowling keeps saying that he cant see.  The doctor calls an end to this fight and it will go to the scorecards.
