Adrenaline MMA 4 took place tonight in Council Bluffs, Iowa and ProFighting-fans.com added our preview of Adrenaline MMA 4 earlier today. The event featured a co-main event of Houston Alexander vs Sherman Pendergarst and Tim Sylvia vs Jason Riley with seven of the fights televised on HDNet.
Houston Alexander, still under contract with the UFC but fighting in the local event, defeated Sherman Pendergarst to improve his MMA record to 9-4 with a 1st round TKO victory at the 1:51 mark.
In the second of the two main event fights, Tim Sylvia looked to end a 3-fight losing streak which has seen his record fall to 24-6 as he faced Jason Riley (6-1). Sylvia dominated the fight early landing 3-4 strikes for every one from Riley before Sylvia dropped Riley and got the win via TKO in round 1 @ 2:32.
