Strikeforce Fedor vs Rogers weigh-in results, fight results posted tonight

The weigh-ins for the Strikeforce Fedor vs Rogers event were conducted yesterday with only one fighter having a significant problem making weight. Dustin Neace, scheduled to fight Jeff Curran at 145 pounds on the undercard, was unable to make weight as the two agreed to a catchweight bout. In the two main card fights in the Heavyweight division, Antonio Silva outweighed Fabricio Werdum by 21 pounds (Silva 263 lbs to Werdum at 241 lbs) and Brett Rogers outweighed Fedor Emelianenko by 32 pounds (Rogers 264 lbs to Fedor at 232 lbs).

Brett Rogers does not lack confidence heading into fight with Fedor

Brett Rogers say’s “I’m the chosen one” in a recent Fight Magazine interview. As the undefeated Strikeforce Heavyweight prepares for his main event bout with Fedor Emelianenko, MMA’s #1 pound for pound fighter, he was quick to mention that Emelianenko is not invincible. While Fedor may have the advantage on the ground, Rogers’ 40-pound weight advantage could play a major factor in the fight should it go to the ground.
