The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 episode 5 aired this evening with Tito Ortiz having the power of selecting the next fight. Ortiz pitted Kris McCray vs. Josh Bryant for tonight’s episode. Bryant is described as “jolly” and “happy-go-lucky” by coach Chuck Liddell. McCray is a “warrior” per coach Tito Ortiz. The McCray vs Bryant match-up is an interesting one with both fighters being undefeated at this point in the professional MMA careers.
At weigh-ins, Josh Bryant his 185 pounds on the head while Kris McCray also nailed 185 lbs. Bryant claims not to be nervous and that it is a “very winnable fight.”
With the fight beginning midway through the episode, there is surely a lot of action to come in episode 5. We’re not going to let the cat of the bag here, so you’ll have to check back in tomorrow’s TUF 11 Episoide 5 recap here at ProFighting-fans.com. What we can say about this fight is it is very close and may cause flashbacks to The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights.
