After the fight the coaches were called in by Dana White to select the matchups for the second round as 8 fighters remain in contention to become the next Ultimate Fighter. The Quarterfinal matchups will be:

  • Fight 2 – Brendan Schaub vs John Madsen
  • Fight 3 – James McSweeney vs Matt Mitrione
