UFC 110 Weigh-in Results

Friday, February 19th, 2010

The weigh-ins for UFC 110 took place in Sydney, Australia this evening (Saturday afternoon in Australia) for an event which features a stacked card of televised fights. With storylines of a the old guard versus the new guard (Nogueira vs Velasquez) and the untested youngsters versus the experienced veterans (Bader vs Jardin and Sotiropoulos vs Stevenson), it’s hard to argue with these fights. But add to it the Michael Bisping vs Wanderlei Silva fight and Mirko Crop Cop on the main card and the sellout Austrailian crowd will be treated to some of the UFC’s finest.

Back to the weigh-ins, nothing crazy happened save Wanderlei Silva charging Michael Bisping causing a little drama as all of the fighters made weight. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira weighed in at 233.2 lbs with his UFC 110 main event opponent, Cain Velasquez, weighing in at 242 pounds. Michael Bisping and Wanderlei Silva both weighed in at 184.8 lbs, George Sotiropoulos and Joe Stevenson both at 154 lbs, Ryan Bader and Keith Jardine both 204.6 lbs and Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic 233.2 with Anthony Perosh at 215.6 to round out the main card fighters.
