1st round – The Hall of Famers begin with Couture hitting a left jab. Coleman returns the favor but Couture hits with a wild right hand. Coleman has his hands to his side and not defending. Couture hits with a right hand but Coleman lands a right hook that makes Couture back off. Couture hits again with a left hand and another jab. Couture lands again with a left hook that puts Coleman on his heels. Couture lands a knee and a right hand that rocks Coleman. Coleman hangs on and Couture puts him against the octagon fence. Couture lands uppercut after uppercut. Coleman defends by hanging on to Couture. Couture lands a right hand again and Coleman looks fatigued. Coleman hangs on to Couture’s head as Couture lands several punches to his face. Couture presses Coleman against the octagon. Coleman’s only offense is a knee but as Couture lands another uppercut, Coleman retreats. They engage again and Couture pummels away with inside punching. 2nd round – The 2nd round is underway and Coleman lands two lefts. Couture answers with a right hand that puts Coleman against the fence. Coleman is taken to the ground and is in mount position. Coleman escapes and gives up his back. Couture grabs Coleman’s neck and chokes him out with a rear naked choke.
