1st round – A very loose Joe Stevenson comes out in a hurry. Sotiropolous misses with his combo and gets hit with a low leg kick. He then connected with a left hand and attempts a takedown but gets it stuffed. Stevenson holds on to Sotiropolous and goes to the ground. Sotiropolous is now on top of Stevenson but in his half guard. He begins to work his ground game against Stevenson. Staying busy, the Austrailian tries to pass Joe Daddy’s guard. Sotiorpolous is now in side control and Stevenson holds on to his body. The battle is more for position, until Sotiropolous jumps on top of Stevenson and drops some punches. Stevenson goes for a submission but nothing serious. Sotiropolous transitions into mount and then takes Stevenson’s back. Joe Daddy hangs on but is getting tagged with punches and lands a major upkick. He transitions to attempt a kimura but cant get it and ends the round in full mount. 2nd round – The fans are going crazy for the hometown guy, who is throwing leather. Stevenson catches his opponent but he recovers. Stevenson hits with a low leg kick and then up top with a body punch. Sotiropolous tags Stevenson with a couple of rights. George tags Stevenson with a right hand and then makes Joe Daddy miss with his uppercut. Sotiropolous is taken to the ground and immediately goes into a rubber guard. Joe Daddy presses him up against the cage, but has to defend against an arm lock. Sotiropolous gets out of the bottom position and takes Stevenson’s back. He then is on his feet, however only momentarily as Stevenson takes him right back to the ground. Stevenson is on top but Sotiropolous maintains position with excellent jiu-jitsu. Stevenson goes for a straight ankle lock but Sotiropolous easily gets out and goes for a choke as the bell sounds. Unofficial Scoring – Sotiropolous 10-9
3rd round – The crowd is roaring as the final round begins. George hits with a straight right and then a left hook. Stevenson defends and comes back with a leg kick. Sotiropoulos catches the kick and gets Stevenson in a body lock. Stevenson looks to be going for a takedown. The fight goes to the ground and then back to standing. They seperate and a tired George tags Joe Daddy with a left. Stevenson is hit with three straight punches and drops to his knees and goes for a takedown. Joe Daddy gets the takedown but Sotiropoulos is back up and trying to control Stevenson’s body. Joe Daddy gets a big takedown and gets into half guard. He isnt really throwing much offense and Sotiropoulos brings his rubber guard back out. Stevenson misses with a heavy elbow and tries to stand and gets hit with an upkick. They both are back up and Stevenson gets a takedown. George is on the bottom but not allowing Stevenson to get any offense as the final round ends.
