1st Round – This lightweight bout is refereed by Kevin Mulhull. Miller comes out and lands a kick to the body of Shalorus. Shalorus answers with a series of strikes. Shalorus hits with a right hook and misses with a spinning back kick. Shalorus hits with an uppercut. Miller hits with a combination of punches and then defends against a kick by Shalorus. Shalorus puts a right hook in the face of Miller. Miller hits with a shot to the midsection of Shalorus. Miller falls down but gets right back up to his feet. Miller hits with a low leg kick. Shalorus is hit with a right hook but re collects himself and squares off. Miller drills Shalorus with a leg kick to the body but Shalorus hangs in the pocket. Miller hits with another leg kick to the body but is then taken to the ground and on his back. Shalorus is now in full guard of Miller and trying to begin his ground and pound game. Miller is defending most if it and the referee agrees and stands the action back up. Unofficial Scoring – Miller 10-9
2nd Round – Shalorus looks fresh although has a swelling below his left eye; Miller looks fresh. Shalorus hits with a straight right to the body of Miller. Miller paces forward and hits with a right hook. Shalorus gets a takedown but allows Miller to get back to his feet. Miller misses with several right hands and Shalorus cant find a home for his rights either. Miller gets the fight to the ground and takes the back of Shalorus. Shalorus is fighting the hands of Miller and trying to not allow him to get his arms under the neck. Miller is inching his arms under the neck of Shalorus and almost has them there. Shalorus is trying to gain wrist control but allows Miller to get his arms around his face instead. Shalorus is battling but cant control the hands of Miller. Miller has a tight body triangle sunk in and in still working to get his arms under Shalorus’ neck. Shalorus is breathing heavy and defnding for the moment. Miller begins to hit Shalorus in the face to try and find some rook to sink in the choke. Shalorus defends and remains in the fight but clearly loses the round. Unofficial Scoring – Miller 10-9
3rd Round – The 3rd and final round is underway and both fighters look to be in good condition. Not much action is taking place for the first minute of the round. Both fighters exchange strikes and then a break in action after Shalorus is hit with a low blow. Shalorus throws Miller off of him and doesnt allow the takedown. Miller hits with a partial leg kick. Miller lands a nice uppercut and follows it with a knee. He jumps on top of Shalorus and ends the fight with some heavy ground strikes.
