Rashad Evans made his way into the UFC by winning The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 as an undersized heavyweight and a huge underdog. His win over Brad Imes at the TUF 2 finale improved his MMA record to a perfect 6-0, and just 8 fights later Evans defeated TUF 1 winner Forrest Griffin to become the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion at UFC 92. However the undefeated Evans tasted defeat for the first time at the hands of karate ace Lyoto Machida. Evans could be staring at a rematch with Machida if he can emerge victorious when he faces rival Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at UFC 114.
