With a 5-fight win streak to start his UFC career, Australian George Sotiropoulos has certainly opened the eyes of many across the MMA world. With wins over Billy Miles, Roman Mitichyan and George Roop in his first 3 UFC fights Sotiropoulos certainly did what he needed to do in picking up wins in each fight, but with just 6 UFC fights between the 3 fighters it wasn't until Sotiropoulos defeated Joe Stevenson at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia that fans and the media truly took note. With just two losses in his MMA career, one to TUF 11 contestant Kyle Noke which he later avenged and the other to Shinya Aoki, Sotiropoulos has truly put together an impressive resume fighting for a variety of MMA organization prior to being signed by the UFC.
