Gray Maynard may be one of the only fighters in the UFC to truly live up to his nickname, "The Bully." Gray is a wrestling prodigy from Lakewood's St. Edwards High School in the Cleveland, Ohio area. He once held claim to the second fastest knockout in UFC history when he defeated lightweight Joe Veres @ UFC Fight Night 11 in just 9 seconds.

Gray was first seen publicly on The Ultimate Fighter, but was well known for honing the skills of top level MMA athletes for upcoming fights; most notably BJ Penn. Gray currently trains and teaches with legend Randy Couture at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, NV.
