Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia currently competes in the WEC's featherweight division and is a former UFC lightweight fighter. This Mexican American fighter was born in Lubbock, Texas, and is known for his "Three Round War" at UFC 69 which he lost via unanimous decision to Roger Huerta. After a loss to Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night 11 in September 2007, Garcia started fighting in the WEC, or World Extreme Cagefighting. "Bad Boy" Garcia is a former USWF Lightweight World Champion and Ring Of Fire Lightweight Champion and says his fighting heroes are Duane Ludwig and Diego Sanchez. Garcia has proven his value in the UFC's new Featherweight division in more ways than one thanks to his exciting, fan-friendly fighting style. In addition to being a former top contender and facing Mike Brown for the WEC Featherwight belt at WEC 39, Garcia emerged the winner over Chan Sung Jung at WEC 48 in what many this was the best fight in MMA in 2010. Garcia is no stranger to controversial or close fights having been involved in 4 split decisions and a draw in a 6-fight stretch from August 2009 to December 2010.
