Historic WEC Featherweight Champions

A list of all historic belt holders in the WEC's 145 pound Featherweight Division

The World Extreme Cagefighting MMA promotion first crowned their Featherweight Champion in October 2002 at WEC 5 when Cole Escovedo defeated Philip Perez. After much inactivity with the 145 pound belt, Urijah Faber burst onto the scene winning the WEC Featherweight Championship in March 2006 and holding it for over 2 and 1/2 years. While the belt is now around the waste of young Brazilian Jose Aldo, Faber along with the man who defeated him, Mike Thomas Brown, remains in the hunt for the WEC Featherweight Championship.
