The Ultimate Fighter: UFC's The Ultimate Fighter TV Show
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) is a reality TV show produced by UFC in partnership with Spike TV where professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters get their opportunity to make it big and make a name for themselves. The participants are housed near Las Vegas with the winner of each TUF competition getting a large contract to fight with UFC. While the series began with two weight classes in the early seasons, more recently seasons of The Ultimate Fighter have been limited to a single weight class. Results of the fights are not controlled by the Nevada Athletic Commission in an effort to keep the results secret until the airing of each show, however the season finale does count towards the fighter's overall record.
