SD- How were the nerves in the initial session with Rampage? RN- My nerves were fine, I wasn't trying to impress anyone; I just wanted to get my first fight out the way.
SD- What did you think about Rampage’s comments regarding your weight? RN- I thought it was funny because they cut out the part where I wanted to spar him, so he could get beat up by a FAT guy.
SD- You sparred some with Kimbo, what was your initial impression of him? RN- My first impression of Kimbo's sparring was that he was sand bagging. He wasn't giving 100%.
SD- Was there chatter in the house regarding Kimbo? RN- Everyone on my team wanted to fight Kimbo so they could try to make a name off him, but from what I know of Kimbo a lot of fighters would get seriously KTFO.
SD- What was your reaction getting picked by Rashad? RN- When I get picked I was like cool, I might be able to bounce some good ideas off him and his coaches.
SD- You go from being a Heavyweight Champion in the IFL, on TV etc, to being in a house and looked over with the initial picks. How did that set with you? RN- I wanted to be picked last personally, so that I could go through the house and make a statement.
SD- When Rampage picked Abe Wagner to face Jon Madsen, what were your thoughts? RN- When Rampage picked Abe and Jon as the fight matchup, all I could say to myself is how this fight is going to be one-sided.
SD- How about the blood on Abe? Wow! RN- The one elbow opened Abe's head up pretty good but he did nothing else.
SD- Talk about how Rashad and his coaches were riding you about joking around. RN- Thats next week, all I can say is I hope they show the whole clip...
SD- First impressions of the TUF House? RN- I was thinking when I first arrive I hope I get a good room.
SD- Thanks Roy and talk to you next week.
