Pro Fighting Fans' Editor-in-Chief Scott Dryden interviews The Ultimate Fighter Season #10 member Roy "Big Country" Nelson in what has become a weekly column here at ProFighting-fans.com, your source for UFC news. In addition to being a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 10 heavyweights, Nelson is also a former IFL Heavyweight Champion. SD- Do you think Rampage’s apology to the door was sincere?

RN- Yes, because he goes coo-coo from time to time, and I think in his therapy sessions they have him confront his anger and the things he hurts.

SD- How about Marcus’ screaming display when the insect was around?

RN- I don't blame Marcus for screaming that spider was huge.

SD- What was the talk around the house regarding Michael vs. Marcus prior to the fight?

RN- That we really didn't know who was going to win, but it was going to be a battle.

SD- Marcus spoke of his passion for the sport and being a student of the game. What percent of fighters in the house feel the same way?

RN- I think whoever wanted to win was a student of the game so, who ever was there to win.

SD- The Green Mile reference was classic - your thoughts?

RN- Marcus sometimes gets excited so I guess he sounds like the famous movies, including Lenny from Mice and Men.

SD- Did you have any part in the rendering of Marcus and did you think he was too sensitive?

RN- No, Marcus is a great guy, but sometimes he can't take a joke if he is at the butt end of it.

SD- Marcus mentioned two all time NFL greats in John Lynch and Derrick Brooks.  Were there any football fans there who conversed with Marcus about his experiences in the NFL?

RN- No, not really. We just talked about the use of special supplements in the NFL and how it changes the game.

SD- An incredible performance by Marcus with the submission. How good can this guy be?

RN- I think he has good ground game, but as for the rest I never trained with him. What I have seen so far he is a monster.

SD- How was Wessel’s arm following the loss?

RN- I believe it didn't heal for about two months after the fight.

SD- How about Dana White’s comments, haha?

RN- Which comments? The one where he asks who you want to fight and how you match with them. I answered and he got my response.

SD- How about your match-up with Justin Wren?  Did you like that draw?

RN- I think my match up with Justin sucked since I liked Justin and we became friends in the house. The matchup for the fight was the last fight I wanted but it is what it is.
